Is there a way to import blood pressure data from Omron Connect to Garmin Connect? Maybe via the iOS Health app if need be?

I record BP readings in Omron Connect which then writes them to the iOS Health app.

I don't want to then have to manually add BP readings to Garmin Connect, which currently only reads my age, sex and height from Health.

Can we have it read the BP readings from Health, or maybe have an app link from Omron to Garmin?

  • That is better than nothing I suppose. Has anyone developed a way to automate it? Importing a CSV every weigh in seems like more work than just manually entering it into Garmin connect.

  • That wouldn't help them to sell more scales and BPMs so I doubt it. But they should at least help people have their WHOLE history on their app prior to buying their measuring products.

  • On android, you can automate weight reading fro mi scales, using the Mi Scale Exporter app. Was hoping for something similar for BPM.

Already made a feature request to Omron, to have their app connect to Garmin Connect. They said yes as a future feature request, no idea if or when.

  • Agree. My guess is the reason is that Garmin's own BD monitor gets terrible reviews and is not cheap, and so no one wants to buy it.  Garmin: if your BP cuff were better, I would be happy to buy it, but either make it accurate or allow information to come from other sources.  There is no chance I am buying your current BP monitor when it's know that is is highly inaccurate.

  • Came to the community looking for an answer to this one too….. come on Garmin!

  • Need this for Android.

  • The Garmin connect app ONLY WRITES to Apple Health !!!
GC needs to READ much more data (including BP, etc), from Apple Health/other-wearables, to get better analysis on the individual.

See end screenshot for GC DATA types written to AH, the GC data ONLY stores Body Mass/fat/weight and water intake !!!

AND GC need to read the FORUM and take action on the great feedback/suggestions/improvements/enhancements users take the time to submit.
