Garmin Connect not Syncing Workouts to Apple Health

Hi! I've recently noticed that my Workouts have not been syncing to Apple Health. This has been going on for roughly the past 3 weeks.

My device is a Garmin Vivoactive 4S

App version is 4.67.3.2

iOS version is 16.5

  • I have the same problem. In my case, the Walk and Run workouts are not synced with Apple Health unless you configure it so that Health has access to the Walking/Running Distance data provided by Garmin Connect. But when doing this, the data of Calories, Distance... etc. is duplicated.

Garmin Connect is not syncinc properly since latest versions of 4.67.2

  • You should try the RunGap App. I use it in between Garmin and Apple / Strava etc , give much more control of when data is shared and also easy to pick up history and sync that. Such a win.

  • I have the same problem. The last successful sync with Apple Health was May 16, and I have not be able to get it to work since then. I use an Edge 530 and it syncs to Garmin’s servers automatically via WiFi so I don’t really need the iOS Connect app, but it’s nice when it will transfer workout data to Apple Health.

  • Thanks for the tip about RunGap.  It looks to be a good solution.  Otherwise, I may go back to Polar+Flow.

  • this unfortunately is the best answer. I use it as my intermediary for anything going from Garmin to Apple Health or when I try other brands gadgets (Apple Watch, Wahoo) to get the data back into Garmin Connect.
