Naming of an activity not correct

I copied the sport profile "Stand-Up Paddle Boarding" last year and renamed the copy to "OC-1".

Until 23.04.23, an activity with the profile "OC-1" was renamed to "Place name OC-1", exactly as I expected.

However, since that date, the activity "OC-1" is now named as "Place Name Stand-Up Paddle-Boarding", which makes it impossible to distinguish between OC-1 and SUP unless I manually change the name.

It's annoying enough that there is no "Canoe" profile on the Fenix and I always have to manually change the activity type.

Why do Garmin developers always manage to break something that works?

You can choose the naming format in the settings of Garmin Connect Web at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings :

Thank you very much. That's exactly what I was looking for. However, in the Connect app.

The setting must have Garmin at one of the last updates probably changed.

I will report whether it works now.

I am not aware of any change since many years I am using Garmin Connect. It always worked for me exactly as I have set it up.
