fenix 7 after reset not connectible

—- issue solved by now, maybe I let this entry stay here for others in the future with similar troubles ——

after a complete reset of my fenix 7 sapphire solar, the coupling with Garmin Connect on my ipad does not work: The watch gets detected and the coupling starts, but then it stops with an error message. The same after scanning the QR-code on the watch with the ipad. An announced 6 digits code on the watch does not appear, only the QR-code stays on it. Restarting both the watch and the ipad dis not change anything. The software on the fenix and the ipad is updated. Coupling with the Garmin Explore app on my ipad does not work either. Connecting, synchronization and updating with Garmin Express on my Macbook seems to work.... ah, no: uploading the FB3 inline skating app did not work... and: uploading "install_app" by Garmin Express on my Macbook did not work Unamused

Best,

Thomas

  • Before you start the pairing process it might need to be removed from the Garmin connect web page as well. I had this the other day and as soon as removed it all worked fine.

  • Thanks! I did solve the issue a few hours ago by what you recommended and by removing the old entry of the watch in mybluetooth settings and now everything works fine. My excuses for forgetting to delete the question!
