Data still not syncing to Apple Health even after the update

As per Garmin-Sara post I am starting a new thread for the discussion as I updated to version 4.67.2 of Garmin Connect days ago and the data is still not syncing.  The previous thread is here https://forums.garmin.com/apps-software/mobile-apps-web/f/garmin-connect-mobile-ios/334152/steps-non-sync-on-apple-health/1624464#1624464 and per the discussion on the thread it sounds like the problem was not fixed for anyone else either so I’m unclear why/how Garmin concluded that this problem is fixed?

  • I hate to say it but Connect & Apple Health have always had varying issues with activities getting logged. The bugs change every time there's a new GC release. 

    I dont think we'll ever be able to fully rely on Garmin playing nicely with Apple Health. 

    I've resorted to turning off many of the activity related write options (from GC to AH, you do that in the AH app) and use a 3rd party app, Run Gap. That's been working fine for a year now. If they can do it right, I'm not sure why Garmin can't. 

    Wellness data is another rabbit hole I dont want to go down.

  • I’m still having the same issue with 4.67.3. My data won’t copy to Apple health past the first day of this month (June).
    To be clear, the only data that correctly syncs is between now and June 1st.

    Same issue, still not seeing any data but HR synced to iOS since 09.03.2023. And i think it’s really sad when it’s still the same problem until now

    • Do we have permission to contact you via email?
    • What Country are you located in?
    • What iOS version are you running?
    • Are you missing wellness data (steps, HR, calories) or are you missing recorded activities (running activities, etc...)

    - After the update, lots of missing activities were synced. Good job. But I'm still missing several activities (especially swimming) and steps in many days, a difference of several thousand steps.
