How to export a GPX track from an iPhone to a Garmin device

Hello, I'm trying to export a GPX track from my iPhone to my Oregon 700, but I'm having trouble. Within the Garmin Connect app, the Oregon device shows as "not compatible." Do you know why this is? Thank you.
