Trouble connecting dash cam to Drive IOS

Hello y’all! I have reached out to Garmin phone support three times and they have been baffled all three times, so I’m hoping maybe y’all can help. 

I have recently purchased a Dash Cam 67W and cannot for the life of me get the secondary Bluetooth connection. I make it to the “Select an Accessory” page, but the dash cam never appears in the list. The camera itself says connected, but the app says it is not. It however will appear as a connected device under my list of Bluetooth devices in my phone Settings. 

I have successfully connected the camera to a friend’s iPhone (exact same model and software as mine), but my phone will not work.

I have restarted the phone, restarted the camera, reinstalled Drive app, waited 7+ minutes for the phone to find the device, updated the camera’s software via Express, updated my IPhone 13 Pro’s software to IOS 16.5, deleted the camera from my phone’s known Bluetooth devices, and tried to connect while the camera was using a wall plug, a computer, and also my vehicle’s cigarette lighter. All with no success. 

Any insights?
