As of yesterday Garmin connect does not write steps in Apple Health despite being as the first priority in Apple health This happens after the recent update of iOS 16 and Garmin connect.

I updated garmin Connect app, not solved.
Apple customs service said to contact garmin. So no solution
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue;
Please could I ask that you try the following troubleshooting;
If you are still having issues I would recommend contacting Apple direct as it is more than likely an issue their end.
The response from Garmin to the problem - as with all the previous problems syncing to Apple health they blamed Apple as usual and are no help at all (even though it clearly is their fault since everything worked fine before updating
