Multiple Duplicate Blood Pressure Readings in iOS Health App

Hello Garmin,

The addition of blood pressure to connect is a great feature. It has a bug. Once a reading has been entered, rather than adding to the health app once, it duplicates it every time you open the connect app, so you end up with multiple entry’s of the same reading.

Also, don’t know if it’s relevant but connect shows as inactive in the data sources and access section.

  • Just noticed same issue! Please allow GC to read BP from Health while you fix the duplication bug…

  • Also noticed: I turned off the option to write BP to iOS Health in the Health app. The result was that pulse was also not written to iOS Health :0). How is that possible?

  • Hello all. Just looked for online forum since I got exactly the same bug. I had also multiple records from GARMIN Connect in Apple Health. Sometimes it exceed 15-17 identical readings.
what I did: unpair, and delete the GARMIN Connect app.  Pay attention to unpair (forget) GARMIN INDEX BPM in Settings/Bluetooth the BPM connection. Restart your phone. And re-install then GARMIN Connect app.  Then follow the steps to add New device, put your Garmin INDEX BPM to BT pairing mode, wait for 6 digit code and done. FYI: the source in Apple Health for GARMIN is still greyed out and inaktive, but duplicity is gone. All your past readings in GARMIN Connects are stored and will appear after new installation in there. All above however did not delete multiple records in Apple Health, you have to do it manually (if so). Cheers
