I was wondering but is anyone able to answer by my progression bar on each of my activities for Garmin connect has suddenly changed from yellow and orange to green and blue.

  • The green progression bar on the Steps panel means you've met the daily goal. And if you ask about the color of the logged activities, then they have different colors, depending on the type of the activity.

    1. Yes I know what each of the colours means but I originally had orange as goal completed and yellow as still be completed but as of today they suddenly changed to blue as still be completed and green as completed I was asking why the colours suddenly changed.
  • I was asking why the colours suddenly changed.

My guess is that the developers thought it would make more sense for the colors to be changed. I happen to agree, as in most situations green means good. In this case, "goal completed."

If you want a direct answer from Garmin, try opening a case with Garmin Support.

  • The new Garmin connect app has changed the 'incomplete' progress bar from blue/purple to just blue and the complete progress bar from yellow/orange to green. Now this makes sense because this is how the Garmin connect website is also coded.

However, on the dark background of the connect app, the dull blue and the dull green are too much like each other and the completed progress bars don't really stand out as they should. This is naturally subjective and maybe others don't see the issue, but having it a bit brighter is certainly better than too dull.

Could you please either make it bright green instead of dull green, or even considering the return of yellow/orange? Previously the contrast between the cool colours and the warm colours made a big difference - now from blue to green it's not that much of a contrast.
