Garmin smart watch models and EMF radiation option of disconnecting Bluetooth to remove or is there airplane mode and example using my type of Garmin model smart watch?

Topic about Garmin smart watch models and EMF radiation option of disconnecting blue tooth to remove or is there aeroplane mode and example using my type of garmin model smart watch.

I have a type of older model Garmin model viovactive HR.

"I was on the Fit Bit fourm and found out that basically all there smart watches apart from one model do not allow, do not have an option aeroplane mode - I recently sold type of fit bit model I had after finding this out.

Are there types of Garmin models which allow aeroplane mode or discount from EMF G radiation.

Whilst writing this I see that there is a possibility for myself to do something such as: not allow bluetooth to sync on the Garmin watch (up to date) - I was wandering if I do this does it sort of mimic "aeroplane mode" on this model?

I am not sure becuase I see that if I try to track an activity e.g. running then it switches to automatically connecting to GPS data to give details such as distance - I am not sure if G wifi radiation is something that is always on with Garmin models

The reason for writing this post is basically trying to take steps to reduce my EMF exposure after finding out about negative effects of G radiation, would be helpful if anyone reads this and offers ideas.

Thanks for reading.

I was trying to upload a image of my watch

question:

If I do not put blue tooth sync on vivo active hr model does it still use G radiation? Yes or no

Are there type of Garmin models which have aeroplane model or option to turn of G radiation? The Hr doesn't look like it has aeroplane mode

Is there any other people posting stuff about G radiation and smart watch models on this fourm I wonder? 1141

  • What is "G radiation"? Which frequencies are that and what frequencies are used for bluetooth and wifi?

  • Thanks. By G radiation I was referencing type of EMF radiation like 5G or 4G or wifi for example. What do you mean which frequencies are that? I am not sure what exact frequencies are used for different blue tooth and wifi - I think it fluctuates but will be able to find out a general value if I searched for it. 2 other errors

  • Ok. I've never heard the term "G radiation". The only thing I find when I search for it is gamma radiation and that is something you really want to avoid :-) It doesn't seem to be a term that is used so it is probably best to not use it to avoid confusion and avoid focus on the words.

Garmin devices use bluetooth and wifi. There is only one watch that use LTE (945 LTE) so not really any need to discuss 4G and 5G in this context.

Wifi is only enabled under certain circumstances. Read here when: https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=p5O72z9aPT4KRMfecjagl7
It can also easily be turned off by disabling auto upload or not adding a wifi network.

When searching for how to turn off bluetooth on different Garmin devices I get lots of links to the manuals for the devices, so it seems to be possible on most watches from Garmin.

In the watches there are GPS receivers. It is a one way communication. Nothing is sent. For watches without GPS there is an option to use the GPS in the phone but then you need to activate bluetooth for it to work.

  • Thanks. I tried to edit this post and upload a jpeg from Facebook, but it did not seem to work, tried show picture of type Garmin I have. I did not know about disabling auto upload or not adding WIFI network - I was able to "turn blue tooth off" in the hr watch without the app by just going on the settings, see there is an option (where after that doesn't display Bluetooth symbol at top of screen. I did not know about GPS receivers - I thought that if says GPS is used on the watch that GPS uses type of EM radiation (WIFI or 1-5G) - was thinking to myself maybe this is something which is always on? ' it seems like Garmin brand seems to have better settings set up than fit bit brand for reducing EM radiation exposure' I clicked on your profile - says that access is denied to see your profile -  was wandering if you are a type of Mod? "end of sentence?

  • I tried to edit this post and upload a jpeg from Facebook

I edited your post to have the image.

  • Thanks. I think you were user who commented on previous post I made. On Facebook I upload stuff related to chelation protocol (where smart watch is useful), I am not sure how to manually upload a image to a post" End of sentence

  • Garmin watches try to limit the battery usage. One way to do that is to limit the radio communication to only when needed.

Clicking the profile doesn't. No idea why. I don't think ä it works for any user. I'm not a mod. Just a very active user that tries to help fellow users.
