Tactix Delta doesn't connect via bluetooth.

Tactix Delta doesn't sync on Bluetooth. The only way it will connect is if I restart the watch. Then once the Bluetooth connection is dropped, I need to restart the watch to connect it again.

Before restarting the watch, it shows in my iPhone as a known Bluetooth item but it doesn't connect. It tries for 3 seconds and goes back to not being connected. This started after a recent update.

Try removing the watch from Garmin Connect, also from the list of iOS Bluetooth devices, and then add it back again.

Forgot to mention that I have done that a number of times and it works until the Bluetooth needs to reconnect. Thus I have found simply restarting the watch to be a faster workaround rather than resetting the watch each time I need to sync.

I did not mean resetting the watch. Just removing it both from the Bluetooth list of devices (important!), as well as from Garmin Connect.

I understood and have done that a number of times, having removed it from Garmin Connect and the phone's Bluetooth list of devices. It is only a temporary fix. Once the watch tries to reconnect it doesn't.

All of that has been worked through. Support sent me to the forums to start. I will give it another couple of days.

Did you test it with another phone? That would help you isolating the source of the troubles - whether it comes from the phone, or from the watch.

I have yes. It is definitely the watch.

In that case request a replacement, or at least ask the Support to instruct you how to reinstall the firmware, to see whether it helps. There is a way through the Developer menu, but we are not supposed posting the instructions here on the user forum, hence you will have to speak to them.
