If the VO₂max does update on the watch, and just not updating in Garmin Connect, then skip the beginning and go directly to the chapter "The Device Has Been Associated With More Than One Garmin Connect Account", and follow the instructions (removing the device from GC and adding it back). Do it even if you believe you only have one account.
