Cant' connect watch with Garmin

Past 2 years no problems at all. Since last week the custom faces are gone, can't get them to load on my iPhone.

So I reset all, but no succes. Next I deleted the fenix 6 from Garmin connect. And that is when the real trouble started. Now I jus can't connect.

On my iPhone the watch is found. But when I connect.... nothing. Just the message: can't connect your Garmin device.

I did all I could find on the web, so now I hope to find the answer right here.

  • Do you also have Connect IQ app still installed? I'd suggest uninstalling it then follow the below instructions and video.

    • Remove your Garmin device from the Garmin Connect App (Menu >> Garmin devices).
    • "Forget" all Garmin devices in iOS Bluetooth settings.
    • Do the same for any other nearby mobile devices that might have Garmin in its Bluetooth settings. A common issue for users that have a new phone or other mobile devices also paired to the same Garmin device.
    • If Connect IQ is installed, uninstall it from all mobile devices.
    • Reboot your phone, restart your Garmin.
    • On your Garmin device place into "pairing mode." Differs per device, on newer devices: Menu >> Connectivity >> Phone >> Pair Phone to manually enter pairing mode.
    • Pair using Garmin Connect Mobile app

  • Yes..... forgot to reset the bleutooth :-(

    Thanks. All is working now.
