1040 missing data

I am using it for cycling. The data is recorded correctly in the 1040 device but not uploaded to connect app. Why is this how to fix it

Assuming you saved then synced correctly and are not using multiple Garmin accounts, try a manual upload to Garmin Connect Web.

How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

Thanks. to update

1. Connect 1240 via type-c cable to computer

2. Copy the log under activity folder

3. log int o Garmin Connect onlnie and upload file manually.

It works but strange that my device fail to sync at the 1st place.
