Wrist tattoos and Garmin Venu 2

I own a Garmin Venu 2 and use the wrist monitor to track activity and general health information, both for personal needs and as part of a research done by a University and a health service provider, which requires 24/7 heart rate monitoring.
I am thinking of having a tattoo that will cover my wrist, and try to understand how it may affect the accuracy of the reading.
I understand that it may affect accuracy, but I was wondering if there is any more updated information on the severity of the inaccuracies.
Thanks!
