I have same issue. Good find with the font size change 
. It only happens when you don’t use ‘default’ size font. FYI if you add ‘Text Size’ to your control centre you can change the font size per app (or via accessibility settings) reverting the font size in connect to 100% while leaving the rest of your iPhone at your chosen font size.
All good figured it out 
And why are the cards twice as big now? Just a waste of space if you ask me…
