Grateful for any sugestions on rectifying the the following 1030 Plus map update error:
After latest map update routable maps of Europe 2022.11 (I'm in Cyprus region) routable maps navigation function no longer works. I get the two following errors when using my saved routes (see attached pic below of error message on 1030 plus screen):
1. “Route calculation error” (this error comes up continually and displays a tick to accept as the only option);
2. “Route Calculation error: Maps do not have routable roads in this area” (less frequent);
3. The map continuously jumps to map page (from any other page being viewed) and shows countdown to turn point (with secondsw to turn counting down), which just resets continuously when time reaches zero (endless countdown loop).
I have tried the following to rectify the fault:
- Uninstalled/Reinstalled EU map (twice);
- Uninstalled ALL maps Reinstalled EU and AU/NZ (see pics below);
- Uninstalled EU map, rebooted 1030 Plus and clean reinstalled EU map;
- Deleted some stored routes (I saw one error msg that said only 50 waypoints could be stored). Not sure if that was in relation to 50 stored routes or not more than 50 points in the route i was creating at that time? I deleted some routes just in case (about 10) and havent seen this error again (but routable maps still not working).
Errors persist after all above actions and I can no longer used my saved routes or a newly created route for routable navigation (always worked fine before the last map update). Following map reinstall I created a new route (after the map reinstall) and saved the new route. When I tried to use the new route the same error occurred.
