Sync runs to Garmin coach

I have signed up to Garmin coach 5k and have done my first run- the benchmark run, yet in Garmin coach it is still showing it hasn’t been done.

I’ve gone all through my watch and the app and I can’t see what to do, can you help? I have a 255s forerunner

Did you start the workbench run from the coach widget? That way it is guaranteed that you start the correct workout.

You can also start it through one of the running profiles but be careful to start the coach workout. It should suggest the workout if it is planned for today.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I went into run and it said do workout and it gave me the details for the benchmark run so I pressed start.

it has titled itself benchmark run on the connect app it just hasn’t included itself as part of the training plan.

I will go out again later on and try again following what you say and see if that helps.
