Which watch? If you have your watch set for "Set Time > Auto," going outside and starting a GPS activity will sync with the current time and time zone.
Time Settings Hold MENU, and select System > Time.
Set Time Sets the time zone for the watch. The Auto option sets the time zone automatically based on your GPS position.
