Treadmill walking vs jogging

I am getting back in shape doing mainly walking before building up to jogging.  Using the treadmill run activity my walks track almost perfectly, but if I jog it wildly overestimates how fast I am running.  I would like to have two activities a treadmill walk that I calibrate and a treadmill run for when I jog that I can calibrate.  Is that possible?  Is there a way to have the treadmill walk show up under walking instead of running without having to manually doing it in garmin connect.
