Why won't my index smart scale connect?

Changed routers, now trying to update scale's wifi setting, but the scale is stuck on a wrench and the bluetooth icon, and the app on my iPhone x keeps saying "Device Not Found" even though I can see in the bluetooth settings that the scale has connected with the phone.

I've reset the scale multiple times.

I've restarted my iPhone twice.

I've removed and re-installed the app.

I've tried many times to reconnect them. Phone app won't connect to the scale.

The scale won't even measure weight in this state. What terrible software!

Help! I’ve the same issue the smart scale, updated my Wifi Network and now cannot reconnect to the scale. It appears in Bluetooth on my phone, however the app won’t detect the device. I cannot remove the scale from Bluetooth either.

It’s the Index scale and i‘be read about older scales having some issues, the resolution suggested by Garmin did not work.

I did find a work around to this problem, the scale was locked in Setup mode and could not be found by Garmin Connect even though it was showing up in the Bluetooth connections. Disabling Bluetooth on my phone allowed the scale to be discoverable by another device.

Logging into my Garmin Connect account on a different device which did not have the scale paired and adding the scale worked.

The issue issue seems to be between Bluetooth on an IPhone 14 and the Older Smart Scale.
