I ran an 8 x 600m track workout with 200m walk/jog recoveries. I manually lapped at the beginning and end of each 600m, with no watch stops or pauses. This was not a pre-loaded workout. On the Garmin Connect website, the intervals are automatically labeled correctly. It automatically identified the "run" vs. "recovery" laps, and it even accurately labeled the "warmup" and "cooldown" laps. It looks good and allows me to sort just the "run" laps to see the applicable run data. Unfortunately, on the Garmin Connect Mobile iOS (where I consume most of my data), there is no automatic labeling. In fact, I'm unable to even edit the interval labels to reflect "recovery", "run", "warmup,” etc. The inability to edit intervals only happens when the recoveries are moving. If the recoveries are stationary (rest) on the side of the track, I'm able to edit the intervals in GC Mobile iOS. It seems that when the automatic interval labeling algorithm kicks in, it displays differently between the web and iOS app. It also inhibits manual labeling within the GC Mobile iOS. Does anyone have any insight on this? iOS App Version 4.62.0.31, FR955 Version 13.22.
