GPS - forerunner 45

Hello everyone, 

i’m currently travelling in South America and I’m from France. The GPS doesn’t work when I try to start a Run, do i have to do something to make the GPS work?

    Download fresh ephemeris data. Best using a computer and syncing the watch over the USB cable with Garmin Express. If not possible, then syncing with Garmin Connect on a phone with data roaming should work too.
