Why won’t my Vivofit sync after I changed the batteries?

I recently changed the batteries and now it won’t sync. Never been a problem before. Says it successfully paired and when I try syncing it, I don’t get an error message or anything but it doesn’t update the time on the watch. I’ve tried turning Bluetooth off and on, turned my phone off, and deleted the app and reinstalled it.

  • Try removing the watch both from the BT list of your iPhone, as well as from Garmin Connect. If there are several instances of the watch (i.e. an older instance from before the battery replacement, and a newer one) remove them all on both sides. If you ever paired the watch with other devices (phone or tablet), remove it from there too. Once removed everywhere, add it back trhough Garmin Connect (not through the BT menu of the phone!!!). Be sure to be logged into your original Garmin Connect account, do not create a new one!
