Forerunner 245 Music. Music stops

Music stops as soon as I press the start button. I have a pair of Sony earbuds. It’s quite irritating as I bough the 245 Music brand new specifically to listen to music while running, otherwise I would have gone for a cheaper Garmin

Is the music stopped when you start logging the activity?

Can't you start the music again after the activity is started?

Check if the earbuds has been paired as a sensor. Some earbuds can be paired as a footpod.

I start the music first and then press the button to start the activity and it stops and never plays music again. Even if I stop the activity. To play music again I have to start all over. And no, I can’t start the music after the activity is started.

I paired the earbuds as sensor. How do I pair them as footpod?

You shouldn't pair them as a footpod. Check if they accidentally have been paired as something else than "Headphones".
