I can’t download Garmin express on my iPad

I’ve tried to download the file but it does not come up as a dmg file it’s just blank. It’s my first time using a Garmin as I was told you don’t need to do anything as it uploads automatically. Is this true

As far as I know Garmin Express is available only for MacOS (and for Windows). MacOS apps do not run on iPads.

The app you should use is Garmin Connect.

Garmin Express is also good to use for some tasks like map updates, music etc, but that is not what you usually use for daily sync even though it can do that as well.
