Is it one of the listed supported banks+card you are trying:
All checked! Should work, but not possible due to lack of letter-input and 18 in stead of 19 characters
Even re-installed the watch, but same issue
note; i use a Iphone 11+
but not possible due to lack of letter-input and 18 in stead of 19 characters
If the card number contains letters, then it is not a standard credit card, but some kind of a Dutch local debit card like iDeal, Maestro, etc. Ask your bank to give you a standard Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card.
I don't get, why you need that many digits. My mastercard and Visa is only 16 digits and when I search pictures of Maestro cards they are also only 16 digits. Maybe you are confusing with your back-account number. I had to open an account at Revolut (Mastercard), since my bank doesn't support garmin pay.
Garmin Pay confirms that the Netherlands ABN-AMRO -MAESTRO type bankcard are acceptable. The cards numbered starting with NLxxABNAxxxxxxxxx also worked fine with Apple Pay etcetera….. A pay service always has tobwork with these bank accounts, even if there is no creditcard related to these accounts!
That is not the card number, but the account number. Turn the card and use the card number. it is the first 16 digits, the last 3 is security code.
Thanks for your reply PallMe, you put me on the right trail! it seemed i have one old card without that number on the backside and one new type that indeed has that number.
in the input for cardnumber i had to fill in the complete number, including the last 3 digits and on the bottom line security code that same 3 digits again
for the older card, i had to login on the bank-site, where the specific account/cardnumber can be found in the “ wearables” menu
So, all worked well!
