Garmin & titanium plates in wrist

I have a titanium plate & screws in my left (non-dominant) wrist. Had a very ugly open compound fracture and needed surgery I’d like to get back to wearing my Garman. It’s been 5 months. When I wear it my wrist aches. Is is that I am not used to it or is there something about the Garmin sensor? I’d like to keep it on my left wrist rather than moving it to my dominant, right wrist.

Sorry for your injury. No, the sensor emits just a monochromatic light of much lower intensity than the daylight, it cannot hurt. If you use a watch with contacts on the backside, and do not have a small rubber plug on it, buy some - they are available on websites like Amazon, eBay, or Ali Express for a few cents. It could help if the pain is caused by an allergy to metals, or perhaps due to some el. potential on the contacts. More likely your problem is purely mechanical, your wrist is probably too sensitive now, I'd tell. Or, if it is a skin rush, it could be also due to bacteria build on the watch, but that would occur only after a long period of wearing the watch. To prevent it, clean it sometimes with 70% medical alcohol.
