Training Status not the same across devices

Since last Enduro update. Training status across my enduro and edge 830 is never the same

  • Is Enduro using Training Status 2.0? You can see that by checking if it uses Acute load instead of 7-day load. There is also a new status named "Strained" that doesn't exists in the old training status that Edge 830 is using. If it is using the updated Training status they will no longer be the same even if you always sync the Edge before and after each ride.

    Edit:

Since Enduro is a Fenix 6 and use the same software it is using Training Status 2.0.

  • Hi Yea It did updated to that. So the Edge is outdated now and until that update’s it will be like that.

    thanks

  • You can still use the training status from the Edge and sync it before each ride as earlier so it will calculate its own value which is as correct as it was before the update of the Enduro, but the Edge and Enduro will no longer show the same value since the algorithm that is used will be different.

I'm not sure if you must continue to sync the Edge before each ride to make the training status on the Enduro more correct. Probably not. I would still continue to do the sync and make sure the training load values are updated on the Edge before I ride.

I don't believe that the old Edge devices will get any updates of Training Status. It will likely soon come an 840 with the new training status.
