HRM chest strap sync bugged with latest iOS version?

I am too interested in this - I'm just not able to sync the HRM-Pro Plus to the Connect App on iOS. After every activity I still wear the strap and open the Connect App and try to "force" sync by clicking on the stran icon ... as this day it shows that the last sync was 19. 2. 2023. 

Any ideas?

For me (iOS 16) I found out that force closing Connect (swipe up on app switch screen) and then starting the app again, causes the strap to sync. Keeping the app open no longer syncs, so this is the only way I can do it.

So frustrating. Thanks for the tip, I'll try it! 

I tried ... it doesn't work. 
We really need a "force sync" function. :/
