Can’t open planned course data because it displays a man running in loop

I just installed the app, I imported tracks from gpx files (komoot) and transferred them also to my new 530 edge without problems, but inside the app I can’t check the data of the planned course like height slope and so on because in the bottom it shows a man running in loop, I’m able to see just the map view. I’m using an Iphone XR but tried also on an Iphone 13 and same issue. Again in my 530 device I can open and see everything

I have the same problem s of yesterday! Been using and adding courses for a while now with no problem. Now, all my courses are affected. IT MUST BE A BUG WITH THE APP!!!

At least I know I’m not the only one with this problem, I guess we’ll have to wait. Hope they fix it soon

Just chatted with Garmin and not very satisfactory! I have an iPhone 8. A current model. Garmin suggested I need to go to iOS 16. But the 8 only goes to 15.7.1. Updates to that and still no good. THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

According to Apple you can install iOS 16 on iPhone 8: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/iphe3fa5df43/ios

And I have now installed it. But NO DIFFERENCE!!! Still getting the running man This is a Garmin issue. They need to fix this bug.

Amazed no one else seems to be reporting this problem. I’ve opened a case with Garmin Support who are trying to help. At their request I deleted the app, rebooted my phone and told my hedge 830 to forget my phone. Then started again with re-downloading the app and reconnecting. All my courses are still there and personal details, but no change to the problem. Running man still running!

I can still create courses on App and send them to device. I can then see all the usual detail including elevation. Not a solution, but at least I can get round the problem it seems.

Just to confirm, are you using an iPhone? If yes, what model and what version of iOS are you using. I’ll pass it on to Garmin. Thx
