I signed the petition. I'm very frustrated with the Garmin Connect iOS experience. It is unacceptable that my activity data is not shared across other iOS apps like Apple Health, Apple Fitness, and other iOS third party apps. That my Garmin activity data is not consistently accessible on other iOS apps seems like an intentional choice by Garmin to lock their users to Garmin Connect, as opposed to being able to access and analyze data on other iOS apps.
I'm so frustrated, I'm considering returning my Garmin device and going back to my Apple Watch — I have 20 days to continue evaluating my Enduro 2. The hardware is great, the software is utterly subpar.
It looks like we have a good chance to get this fixed , the other thread about this is gaining traction and I feel that Garmin now knows what we are asking for to be fixed .. cross fingers
After being in touch with garmin support and after investigating the issue they came to conclusion that the Apple integration works according to their design and they said that I need to contact Apple to fix the rings to be filled. With other words we do not conform to Apple SDK, they have to adapt to us.
