Dear Garmin! Any chance of adding a lawn mowing and shoveling to Garmin activities? I just mowed two acres and I only have 2600 steps.

Likely that your watch was unable to detect a natural stepping movement, as your arm was holding onto the lawnmower handle. I usually will just put my watch in my pocket when mowing. That way I get credit for all the steps.

even with a lawn mowing app you will not get steps if your arm is not moving. You can always copy an outdoor walking app and rename it mowing if you really wanted to. If you are more interested in step count you can move your watch to your pocket or just push the mower with one hand like i used to do.

Now I just dont care that much.
