Gamin connect ios not finishing setup

Super odd as I updated to new ios app version, got a new phone but it won’t finish setup to new phone. Still fine on olD app but I am selling that phone. Same ios16 but only difference is app version. Anyone else get this?

Connects to bt so I get notifcations but never completes setup. Been a long time garmin user.

Have you tried:

Remove (forget) the device from BT settings on the Phone

Delete the App

Restart phone and device

Reinstall App and the set the watch to Pair.

Seemed to sort my getting it to connect issues

Yes but will try again and seems super weird as it was working fine before the app update.
