Weather not updating on Epix 2. New iPhone 14, new watch. Came from a droid and a 945 with minimal problems. Anyone got a hint for me?

Just got a new Epix 2 and a 14 Pro Max. Everything syncs up except weather. It says waiting for Garmin Connect but never spits out the info. Am I missing a setting?

There was an issue initially when iOS16 was in Beta phase and Garmin hadn't updated the GC App to account for some API changes but that has been fixed. Assume you have the latest GC App etc.

On the GC App under Settings> User Settings> Weather do you have it as Phone Location ? If so Try Fixed Location and see if that finds the weather (just as a test) ... you can always change it back later

Also is Location Settings set to ALWAYS for the GC App in the iOS Location Settings?

I have the FR955 but those were the issues I had over time with the weather and thought to share.

Sometimes Deleting the GC App, Forgetting the device in iOS BlueTooth setting and then reinstalling GC App and pairing again assist in some of these wiggly issues

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! Setting it to always on fixed the issue.
