Setting changes for watch faces not working

I can’t make watch face setting changes anymore. At first I thought it was something to do with my new F955 but the issues is also with my Vivoactive 3 where I was previously able to make changes. I just get a blank screen when I got to settings. I also tried with Garmin Express and I get a error that says changes can’t be save try later(tried for 2 days)

First of all try restarting both the app and the watch. If it does not help, clear the cache of the app. You can also clear all data of the app, if the cache does not help. After each of the steps, restart also the watch.

I sincerely appreciate that feedback but I’ve done all of that over the last two weeks since I got the 955. Thought it was the watch or watch face until i tried the old Vivoactive 3. Was actually able to get to make setting changes in Garmin Express but then got let down when it wouldn’t save…. Just frustrating!!!

It may be also a problem of the CloudFlare security service blocking your access to some of the subdomains that Garmin uses. Try an alternative internet connection - another wifi router, or using mobile data instead of wifi. Or a completely different computer in another location.

Has there been a solution to this I am having the same issues. Just started a few days ago. I did notice that it would sometimes give me a blank screen at the beginning but the back button would swipe the current settings page away to reveal a second which did load and worked. It no longer loads settings just get blank pages sometimes multiple blank pages.

This worked for me. I have the vivoactive 4 and I have an iPhone 12.

1. Completely close out of both Garmin Connect and ConnectIQ apps.

2. Power down Garmin watch.

3. Launch Garmin Connect app only.

4. Power on Garmin watch.

5. Once Watch appears on Connect app Navigate to watch face settings.
**I personally did get a blank page first but when I touched the back navigation button the next screen appeared with a working wheel icon and settings did load successfully.

OMG!! I’ve been dealing with this so long I had pretty much given up on the idea of custom settings. The “swipe left” on as iPhone 12 just worked!! So sorry you’re having issues but you just help me solve this mystery!!!
