Not much to go on here since you didn't mention if this was new, had worked prior, shows as connected, etc...
I'd start here https://forums.garmin.com/apps-software/mobile-apps-web/f/garmin-connect-web/259161/troubleshooting-guide-for-some-data-missing-after-syncing. Trux posted a great troubleshooting guide. If nothing on there fixes it, I'm guessing you will need to contact support.
The guide I wrote is in great part for problems with Android phones. Although some of the hints can be useful for iPhones too, generally there are relatively few problems with connectivity on iPhones. The basic troubleshooting hints directly from Garmin could be perhaps sufficient for resolving the situation:

If not, then contacting the Support is indeed a good advice to follow.
