Jokes aside it seems like the lower value is your current value (updated during the day) and if you go into the details that value is still showing the morning value. So a bug (or feature if you see it that way)

Try syncing and then repeat it again. One sync is needed to get the current data from the watch to the GC app and to the server, and often a second sync is needed to get the value for the detailed page back from the server to the app. If repeated sync does not help, try clearing the app cache.
