Never Update!!.........activities won't sync to GC

GC ios app updated today. now activities will not sync from watch to GC and pool swim activity stopped working properly. laps only recorded if using auto rest, but with pressing lap button no distance info recorded.

restarted fenix6
restarted iphone
uninstalled GC from phone
reinstalled GC on phone
synced, but activities will not sync
activities do not show in GC. on browser, or strava feed
awesome

Never update. Nothing changes, except basic functionality!!!

Try importing them manually - download them from the folder //GARMIN/Activity and import at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/import-data. If you get any error, try fixing the file by passing it through…

I update all the time and have no issues. Only times I really have problems is when I install the beta of iOS and, well, I get what I get. Especially the time I was on iOS beta and the alpha on my fenix 7. That was some fun time.

Sync with Garmin Express to get your activities to Garmin Connect. If all syncs ok you know that it isn't an issue with the logged activities.

Tried that, no dice. Half the days activities remain on the watch alone. I am suspecting some kind of timestamp issue between the watch, GC and or ios.

Try importing them manually - download them from the folder //GARMIN/Activity and import at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/import-data. If you get any error, try fixing the file by passing it through the Section Remover (without removing anything) at FIT File Tools

Where is said folder: "//GARMIN/Activity". no such folder on my mac with or without the watch connected. Can the fenix6 be used like a drive? looked through fenix6 manual, no mention of it.

The folder is on the watch. And yes, watch can be accessed as a drive when connected by the USB cable. If you cannot see it on your Mac, check out the following document: Verify the Physical Connection of a USB GPS Device to a Mac | Garmin Customer Support
