Backwoods connectivity

Hello,

I have noticed that my watch won’t sync with the garmin connect app when there isn’t internet service. Luckily it still records and the data shows up when there is internet. Since your products are made to be used in the backwoods, I’m wondering why the Bluetooth connection between the app and my watch isn’t enough for it to sync?

    That is the design. Garmin Connect needs an internet connection. The app do not store your activities on the phone. The app will not work without an internet connection. There are a few cached values you can view, but not of much use.
