The guidelines for assigning grades (poor, fair, good, excellent) are not consistent.

I have had a Venu 2 for a couple of months and really like it. I switched from a Fitbit Charge 4 because of how erratic the heart rate data was during my runs. I bought the chest strap with the Venu 2 and ended up returning it without use as the HR data from the watch alone was plenty accurate for my needs. I have continued to use the Charge 4 for sleep tracking as I believe it has proven to me to be extremely consistent. I have also decided for a time to wear both for sleep tracking and now have roughly a month and a half of data points comparing sleep scores. So far the Garmin is running about 2 - 3 points lower than the Charge 4 on average. Which brings me to the following. For the night of 7/19/22 I got a Garmin sleep score of 89 - Good. While the sleep scores are tracking each other the Garmin grades need help (or explanation). The grade assignments are not consistent with each other and don’t seem to match the explanation text.
Duration of sleep - Less than ideal but received an Excellent.
Stress - One unit higher than the “ideal” value and got a fair. (16 vs 15)
Deep Sleep - One minute below the minimum of the calculated range and got a Fair.
Light Sleep - Very near the top end of the calculated range and got a Good.
REM – In the bottom half of the calculated range and got an Excellent.
I have more back-up and detail if there is interest.
