Safety in car

Hey, i noticed that notifications received while driving in car can be distracting. Couldn’t garmin introduce a safety feature disabling notification when carplay or android auto are active (similar to what apple watch does) ? Notifications can be accessed (in a safe way) through the car’s screen/voice system in such setup

  • But it already does work in this way. If the iPhone's Focus is set to Driving, and you have notifications disabled in the Driving Focus, you won't get any - neither on the phone, nor on the watch. If you do not want to disable the notifications in the Driving Focus, and still do not want any on the watch, enable the Do Not Disturb mode on the watch only (you can set up a hotkey, which will allow doing it very quickly).

Sure, automated DND when driving is detected, might not be bad in some cases, but then you can also travel as a passenger and might not want it. You can suggest it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin anyway
