Create a new swim workout, the default pool is 50m. How can I change the Garmin Connect Mobile iOS app to 25m?

This is not on the watch but on the Garmin Connect app.

I have forgotten to change the pool distance from 50m to 25m. This makes your swim speeds records as being twice as fast. I create a lot of swim workouts and would like to set the pool distance in the app to default all the time 25m instead of having to change it every time I create a swim workout.

I know you can change the pool distance on the watch and that's great if you do not have a swim workout on your watch.

When you want to edit an existing workout, touch here:

If you are asking how to change the default pool length of a "manual activity" (not a workout), see below:

Touch "Show More Data" at the bottom, then you'll see it.

Hey there, Thank you for the reply and the thorough screen shots. In the first SS, I would like that to always default to 25m (as opposed to changing each time a workout is created, and as opposed to a manual activity).

I suspect it is just a text file like:

poolLength=50; (something like that)

I know this is a first world problem/ask but it would be nice to not have to change that field all the time. I'm sure most of us swim at the same pool every swim and mine is a standard/common length: 25m.
