Connection request for old watch

Hi all

Yesterday the Garmin Connect app (iOS) started requesting a bluetooth connection to my older watch, a Fenix 5 which I removed and deleted from my profile in January, and which my wife is using now. I‘m not connected to that watch via Bluetooth on the phone. The dialog requests to enter the 5 digits to confirm a connection, and if I cancel it, it reappears every 10-20 seconds. Hard-quitting GCM did not help.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Remove the watch from the bluetooth settings in your phone. Just removing it from Garmin Connect isn't enough.

I did that in January, and it’s not showing up there.

Open also Garmin Connect Web, and Garmin Express on the computer, and check whether the device was removed from there too. If you use other Garmin apps, such as Garmin Explore, Garmin Dive, Garmin Golf, etc, check them all.
