MTB ride being saved at Indoor Cycle

Using Forerunner 830 MTB ride is saved as cycling indoors so no distance or route is saved. But I rode in gravel setting today and all saved ok. Anyone have solutions?

You can change the activity type in Garmin Connect, but if it was recorded and saved as indoor cycling, without the GPS data, then there is no way to generate the matching map data retroactively.
