"Timeline" Always Shows "No Heart Rate Data"

"Calendar" --> "Daily Details" --> "Timeline" always shows "No Heart Rate data", even though I have several hours of heart rate data recorded for a cycling activity using a Garmin Edge 530 and a Garmin HRM-Dual heart rate monitor. Why is there no heart rate data? The activity itself has the heart rate data; it's right there in the red graph.

While we're at it, why are all my cycling activities shown as "12:00 PM" in Timeline, no matter what time I actually start/finish?

When not recording an activity with the watch, if you wear the watch and strap at the same time, the all-day heart rate data in your Connect account comes from the watch.

The heart rate data on the timeline comes from an activity tracker such as a watch or HRM-Pro. Edge devices are not activity trackers.

HRM-Pro neither. The HR gets into the all-day data, only through a device supporting the daily monitoring. Neither HRM-Pro, nor Edge support that feature. On the other hand, the HRM can be connected to several devices (i.e. watch + Edge) simultaneously, hence you can get the HRM into the daily monitoring by simply keeping the watch with you while riding. Not necessarily wearing it on the wrist; it may be in the backpack, as long as it is connected to the HRM.

I have the exact same issue with you although I use garmin edge 1040. Sometimes heart rate is transfered in calendar of garmin edge some others it isn't. I am not sure why this is happening or how to fix that. Any suggestions?
