Cycling and VO2

Why doesn’t “power” work while I’m cycling. I am trying to get my VO2 trend but the “power” feature on the data screen is empty. It looks the same as how the “speed” feature looks when you are not moving. Please help.

Do you have a power meter on your bike? That is a requirement for cycling VO2 max. Power meters are usually very expensive so you will know if you got one.
