Hi,
I have a brand new Garmin Forerunner 745, I am not able to connect it to the Garmin Connect iOS app.
(I had the exact same problem with my old 745 after I did a factory reset (before I sent it in to get it replaced due to button issues)).
Software version on the watch: 7.60
Software version on the Garmin Connect iOS app: 4.55.2.4
iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 15.5
I have tried:
* Restart iPhone
* Restart Garmin watch
* Enable/disabled bluetooth on the phone
* Verified that the Garmin Connect app has permission to use Bluetooth
* Reset Network Settings
* Reinstall the Garmin Connect app
* Ensure the watch is in pairing mode
I have tested all the steps on my work phone as well, running the same version of iOS and the Connect app. It doesn't work either.
I am able to connect to my Sony WH-1000XM# ear phones so the Bluetooth on the phone should be OK.
But! It connects directly to my super old iPad running iOS 12.5.5. Garmin Connect: 4.42.1.3.
(I have removed the connection now but that verifies that the Bluetooth in the watch is working properly.)
Can anyone help me connect the watch to my iPhone?
