I have an alternative use for the "Goals" tab in Garmin Connect. I'm using it to track multiple devices battery usage.
I've created Goals for my eTap rechargeable batteries (1 by mileage and 1 by hours used) and another for the Vector 3 batteries to keep track of the date that I replaced them.
In the Goal(s) the Target is the expected life of the battery by either the number of miles or hours that they are expected to last. The Start date is the date that they were either replaced or recharged. I usually set the duration to 1 year, it a little long, but the miles or hours will be hit before the duration ends. Once Goal(s) setup and saved, your rides will deduct from the expected life (by the miles or hours) and your get the Remaining column (i.e., remaining hours or miles and a %Complete. It's very handy as now your rides will automatically track the battery usage and if you replace or recharge a battery, you can just edit the existing Goal with a new Start Date.
